5 Ways to Gift your Boudoir Photos

You've finally received your boudoir photos and you're so proud of yourself! You love what you see and you can't wait to share it with the person you love the most... but now, how do you gift something so personal?

A BEAUTIFUL HARD COVER ALBUM

Coming in as the first and most popular, is by having your session printed in a high quality album. It is a beautiful way to gift and showcase your images, privately to your other half. Most brides choose this as a pre-ceremony grooms gift and it definitely leaves him speechless! This option is a classic and will never get old. He/She will cherish it, forever.

These come in a variety of sizes but I choose to offer two options:

A 20x30 album which is a coffee table book size or a 15x15 square album. These are great and compact so can be stored easily and discreetly.

A DISPLAY BOX

Another printed format is to have your images printed and showcased in a display box. The box showcases one image on the front (looks like a frame) and stores the others in the box, so you can interchange the front image anytime you feel like it. This one is a little less 'private' so will need to be kept where guests don't roam around the house and out of sight of the kiddies, if you have any.

A CALENDAR

Imagine starting each day looking at a sexy pic of the one you love. How could that not set the tone for a great day. This is a fun way to share your images and the calendar will be something practical and useful for a full year. He/She can hang it up on the inside of their cupboard door if they don't want any prying eyes.

SEND HIM/HER ON A TREASURE HUNT

A fun and creative way to get him/her excited is to create a treasure hunt with clues. Each destination will have a print from your session waiting for them, which will only hype them up more. Think of fun places to put each print with quirky clues that could relate to your relationship. Save the sexiest shot for last!

FOR THE TECHIES

If you're out of time or simply don't want to have prints done, you can set up a fun way for your partner to reach his/her gift online. The images are sent via a beautifully displayed online gallery, which can be viewed on mobile or desktop. A client of mine recently had a brilliant idea to create her own custom QR code to her album. Give this code to him/her along with a hint. Also, remember to tell him/her to view the code in private (especially if they're at work) just to be safe.

These are just a few ways to make sure that your boudoir images don't get stored in a folder, hidden away on your computer for years. Whether it's a gift to another or even just for you, be sure to make the most of them and the experience.
