Frequently asked questions
How many people will be around when I have my shoot?
When you arrive, there will be two women; the photographer: Kelly & your hair & Make-up artist: Shani. Once you have been pampered by Shani, you will continue one-on-one with Kelly in a private setting.
How far in advance should I book my shoot?
Please book 2 weeks in advance of a date that you have in mind to confirm availability of the photographer, make-up artist and venue.
How much time does the shoot take?
We recommend that you set aside 3h30 hours for your shoot. Hair & make-up will take 1h30 and your shoot can take 1h30 to 2hours depending on your selected package.
Can I choose to do my shoot in the comfort of my own home?
Absolutely, yes! I will require a space with plenty of natural light which we can discuss before booking but it is definitely recommended as you will feel comfortable in your own space.
Will I be naked in any of the photos?
No. Boudoir allows you to pose in a way that implies nudity, however, none of your "naughty bits" will be visible.
Will my images be posted online or on social media?
I am very respectful of women who don't wish to have their images posted and will always ask for a signed release form in order to use any of your images online, along with a request on which image I'd like to use.
If I want to shoot at another venue such as a hotel or guest house, how would I go about it?
The client will be accountable for any costs for the above and arrangements/bookings. Kindly let me know if you would prefer this option as there is a number of things to look for (such as good lighting & privacy).
How do I secure my booking date?
A 50% non-refundable booking fee and signed contract is required to secure your shoot's date. The balance owing is required at least 24 hours before your photo shoot.
Will you Photoshop my pictures?
Basic editing will be done such as removing any blemishes, bruises and correcting skin (removing any red).
Can I shoot outdoors?
I love outdoor boudoir shoots, however the area will need to be private and safe. If you have a spot, let me know and we can discuss some ideas.
What is your cancellation policy?
If you decide to cancel your shoot (without rescheduling), please let me know at least 7 days prior to your date of shoot.
